Williams Farm Update for Feb. 2nd, Ground Hog Day!

Hi!

Back to the cold again today. Hmmm, this seems familiar.  When I woke up this morning Sonny and Cher’s “Babe” was playing on the radio…is this a flash back to other cold mornings this winter or am I doomed to repeat this day again?  You have to have seen the movie “Ground Hog Day” to get this one:)
I’ve been busy prepping for the syrup season this week. I finished installing an RO machine for a customer and our new one came in.  Many syrup producers are upgrading equipment this year to meet new food grade requirements.
We’ll have carrots, artichokes, garlic and all our maple products this week. Carrots should last for another 2 to 3 weeks. Garlic for a couple more weeks.

We still have syrup available here at the farm, but with the cold weather its very hard to organize vegetable pickups. Your best bet for our vegetables is the market, or one of our retail partners. Here’s a list of the main ones and what they carry.
