I’ll be at the Barrie Farmers’ Market this Saturday from 8 to noon with our maple products.
We actually produced a bit of amber this week as we were shutting down for the season. I’ll have a bit at market, but the gallons and half gallons are all pre-sold! The cool weather during the season limited how much we produced.
We finished boiling sap on Tuesday and have started pulling the taps. We had a great season…1.25 litres per tap, 3600 L total… a new record for Williams Farm!
We are already starting to gear up for the vegetable season. The garlic is up and growing quickly in this warm weather.
