We hosted a video crew from the Discovery Channel’s Daily Planet Show a couple of weeks ago and the segment will be aired at 7 pm tonight. I think it is replayed Friday morning as well and will be posted on www.discoverychannel.ca Friday.
The last week has been very busy. We’ve done almost half our syrup production during the last week. Yesterday we hit 98% of our production goal! Interestingly, syrup has gone to extra light? Something I have never seen this late in the season. So, no amber yet, but the season isn’t over.
Jack will be attending the Barrie Farmer’s market for me this Saturday morning with a good selection of syrup and maple products.
We are already gearing up for the vegetable season with seed coming in next week, new equipment ordered, etc.
